China is preparing for war, Is Obama Preparing Us as Well?
Last year China’s President and leader of the Communist party said that war is imminent1 with the United States2, among other countries. As if to lend credence to this claim and show the world that China’s rise is far from peaceful, China has begun testing long range missiles3. These long range missiles, the manufacture of which was enabled by purloined US technology, are being targeted at the USA per Hu’s pronouncement. As China prepares for war, is the Obama administration sitting idly by?
Stolen US tech
China’s military is a cobbled up Frankenstein of4 purloined5 US6 and Russian7 technology. The Chinese, despite what we may hear, have done little to nothing in the way of indigenous innovation. According to Russian military sources, the Chinese submarines would be little match for the much more advanced US versions. In addition, Chinese attack fighters are Russian and US knockoffs and have yet to be proven in battle. The only aircraft carrier the Chinese have thus far, is an old can that was resurrected from the former Soviet Union. So, why are we worried?
Military Concern
The reason that we need to worry, or at least prepare for the communist threat, is that one day it will come. While China has coined its growth as a ‘peaceful rise’, its history shows otherwise. The Chinese have only enjoyed 500 years of peace over the past 2600 years. In other words, China has spent 80% of its time warring and twenty percent either recovering from war or preparing for it.
Peaceful China?
The Chinese would like us to believe that theirs is a peaceful rise. They point out that they have not been aggressive in their territorial expansion. These comments are a veiled attack on the US and other western powers for their history over the past 200 years. What the Chinese fail to admit is that just because most of the Chinese battles have been fought within their own shores, this does not mean that they are less warlike than any other country.
Aside from this, China’s claims of a peaceful rise are further proven untrue as witnessed of the attack of Tibet and East Turkestan- two sovereign nations which communists have occupied over the past half of a century. The Chinese would claim that they did not attack nor occupy either country, however. Buttressing their claim, the Chinese point at maps made hundreds of years ago and claim that this or that emperor had actually claimed those lands. According to Chinese ‘scholars’, this means that the land still belongs to China. Following this logic, one could argue that the southern part of the US should still have slaves and should also be allowed to secede, after all there are numerous ancient maps that would corroborate this ideal.
The upshot is that China’s rise has never been and will never be a peaceful one. But what does that mean to us? After all, I have already called the Chinese PLA a ‘franken-monster’ of stolen tech. So why should we worry?
Obama and company should be concerned because it is not only China’s military might or lack thereof that threatens us. The real China threat is actually a collection of smaller points which when taken as a hole, present a credible threat. Those threats are: cyber warfare enabled by companies such as Huawei, commingling of business interests which will force the US to bend to the whims of Beijing, military might, Chinese ‘Red Immigration’.
Chinese Threats Discussed.
The threat of the PLA military has already been touched upon so let me just add that China is currently working on long range missiles. These missiles could be loaded with nuclear war heads and could reach the US. Although the PLA may be weak, any and all missiles pose a serious threat.
Cyber warfare
China is the most aggressive country in the world for cyber warfare today. The Chinese are engaged in stealing tech in all major sectors. China has stolen tens of billions of dollars worth of secrets and displaced millions of US workers due to cyber theft, and that is the good news. The bad news is that the Chinese are gearing up for cyber war.
To make matters worse, the US is welcoming Chinese companies operating as fronts for the PLA8 to enter the US markets. These companies such as Huawei9 supply key components to the internet backbone. It has been proven that Chinese made gear has built in ‘backdoors’ that can be accessed by the Chinese without our knowledge. It has been proven beyond a doubt that the Chinese can turn these routers into ‘attack zombies’ without the knowledge of US firms10. Such devices can be accessed by the Chinese and PLA and used against us11. The form that would take would be that the Chinese could disable key components of our infrastructure before mounting an attack. For example, the Chinese could disable our telecommunications and energy infrastructure, just was the US did against Iraq. And before you consider such a thing beyond belief, consider that the US government has claimed that US gas pipelines are already under cyber attack12 . Aside from this, look at India’s debilitating power outages. Sources are claiming that the Chinese have had a hand in shutting down Indian electrical operations13 in practice for a larger cyber war. If the Obama administration does not get tough on China and their cyber warring, things do not look good for the land of milk and honey.
Business commingling
Another threat from China comes from commingling US and Chinese business interests. As the economies of the US and China become more integrated, refusing to bow to Beijing becomes more difficult. The more that Chinese and US interests become intertwined, the more difficult it becomes for the US to maintain its autonomy. As an example, previous administrations did not fear receiving the Dali Lama at the White House for a visit. It would appear that the current administration does not share this opinion. It is through subtle pressure such as this, that the US loses its ability to determine its own fate. President Obama has proven to ‘cater’ to Beijing in such ‘sensitive’ matters.
Red Immigration
Another aspect of China’s not so peaceful rise is the incidence of ‘Red Immigration’. Members of China’s communist party, their wives and children are flocking overseas to purchase houses and a better education. As a matter of fact, the sons and daughters of the revolution have been buying up prime real estate14 in the US15, Canada16 and Europe17. Once in a foreign land, however, these party loyalists may fail to integrate but maintain their hardline communists stance.
The typical entry strategy is to either leverage ‘investment immigration’ and or purchase homes, as stated above, or send their children overseas to secure employ. The Chinese are so aggressive in this respect that over half of the Standing committee of the communist party has sent their children and or grandchildren to the US to study. Aside from this, China now has over 160,000 students studying in the USA. This means that more Chinese are studying in US than people from any other country. When and if things go bad between the two countries, these Chinese offspring of communist party members will either claim asylum in the US, just as 70,000 did after the Tienanmen massacre, and attempt to influence public opinion.
To make matters worse, the Obama administration has made it easier for Chinese to obtain Visas. Immigration and diversity are a good thing, but must be managed. For instance, Chinese who now have the ability to emigrate to foreign lands are typically members of the communist party, the same group which has said it is preparing for war with the US. The good people of China, those who have been systematically repressed, are not typically those who have the means to leave the Chinese ‘motherland’.
It is a fact that 90% of all Chinese millionaires and billionaires are communist party members and their family. And based upon this fact, it becomes immediately obvious what the roots of many Chinese immigrants are. The problem is that once these people are in a foreign land and a conflict breaks out, they will have divided loyalties. While this could be said about any country, I would be more worried about those people coming from a political party which has openly said that is preparing to wage war against us.
President Obama’s China plan has been nothing if not ineffective.

Wangxiang Group Corp, which is from China is seeking to buy 80% of A123, which is from the USA. This news would hardly be noteworthy, were it not for a few key points. A123 was awarded over $250 million tax payer dollars from the Obama administration, even though the Bush administration had warned against it. Now, A123 and all of its high tech goodies, will be the property of a firm in communist China, with no push back from President Obama and crew.
At issue is that fact that A123, which produces advanced batteries and storage systems, was thrown a lifeline by Mr Obama and crew. The Obama administration had deemed that green tech was so important to US interests that companies such as Solyndra and A123 got a helping hand. Apparently the White House no longer considers such high tech to be of US national interest. Why else would they do nothing to block the sale of a company which will be in receipt of one quarter of one billion tax payer dollars, to be sold to a Chinese firm?
Perhaps Mr Obama merely believes that the Chinese will use their 80% stake to help the US advance its battery technology and green energy push. After all, the Japanese and Germans believed in a similar fashion, at least until the Chinese stole their technology and produced China’s very own high speed trains.
China’s history dictates that it will do whatever it takes to obtain technologies that it cannot produce at home. China is the worst perpetrator of intellectual property on the planet and is so aggressive in such pursuits that it has been called a ‘threat to US security’. Within years or sooner, the Chinese will have pilfered all of A123’s secrets and will producing their tech in the Chinese mainland. As a result, the US will lose more jobs and take a backwards step in its technology lead.
But I guess Mr Obama knows something that the rest of us do not. Maybe by allowing A123 to be sold to a Chinese firm is all part of some master plan in embracing the new China. The new and collaborative China which has promised to enhance the livelihoods of mankind. Perhaps the notion of handing over taxpayer cash is a form of generating good will with our chief trading partner. Perhaps he believes that we, the US citizens are better able to fund Chinese technological advancement than the communist party itself.
Nah, allowing this purchase is nothing more than a bone-headed move by an administration which has failed to hold China’s feet to the fire. By permitting the purchase of a US high tech firm, the White House is allowing more technological advancement in communist China as well as subsequent job loss.
Team Egypt has admitted that due to financial concerns, their Olympic team had to buy fake Nike Olympic gear from China to wear during the Olympics.
Hmm, let me think about this for a moment. Egypt has admitted that they have sought and procured fake gear from a company in China. Making and selling counterfeit goods is illegal and a thing that China promised to stop when it joined the WTO. It has been over a decade since China joined the WTO and yet they are still producing counterfeit goods which runs contrary to WTO rules.
Even worse is the fact that little to nothing has been done to stop China from doing so. Why has the Obama administration has done nothing to stop them?
Obviously the team Egypt example is nothing more than a symptom of a greater ill. It was recently reported that over 700,000 counterfeit parts made in China were used in US military weapons systems. Aside from this, the department of homeland security has said that over 80% of all counterfeit goods in the USA originate from the People’s Republic of China. This has resulted not only in lost profits and sales, but jobs as well.
Based on all these facts, could the Obama administration have used this Egypt-fake Nike incident to send a message to China and counterfeiters?
Would it be that difficult for the US, out of national interest, to make an example of that Chinese company? This is not the case of some fly-by-night Chinese guy selling Rolex knockoffs on E bay. This is just one more instance of the Obama administration proving that they are asleep at the wheel. It shows President Obama’s lack of concern in protecting US interests abroad.
Living in China one expects things such as religious repression and control, but that is China. As an American, I never thought I would experience such things in my own country. Sadly enough, this is now the Case. Thanks to Obama’s HHS mandate, the United States government is declaring war on religion. Rather than visit China to see first hand how stifling oppression works, we can find it in the heartland.
China’s Religious Oppression
China is actively engaged in suppressing religious freedom on all fronts. In China all forms of worship are controlled and monitored by the communist party. Failure to comply with communist mandates result in a visit from China’s ‘boys in blue’, who will happily introduce religious practitioners to the business end of a truncheon- just to ensure that they learn about religion ‘China style’.
But of course Chinese can worship, the communist party has permitted this. China recognizes five official religions1. Not surprisingly, however, is that all of these religions are beholden to the communist party- which is atheist. In order to add to this religious confusion, all homilies, and places of worship must comply with ‘Chinese Patriotic Religion’ diktats. In other words, in China you are free to believe in God or a higher power as long as you do it when, where and how the communist party tells you to do so.
An example of how this works is that Chinese Catholics must attend churches ‘with Chinese characteristics’, or Churches controlled by the Chinese Patriotic Catholic Association2. In such houses of hallowed worship, one will be forced to endure a ‘communist party ‘OK’ed’ and prepared homily. Hmm, while I do not consider myself to be a Biblical scholar, this notion has me confused. I may be wrong, but I would be surprised to learn that when Jesus and his followers traipsed around the Holy Land Jesus said,
“OK my brothers and sisters listen up. You all know that I am the Word, but let me qualify that statement. My Word is law, unless of course, some atheistic branch of a despotic regime decides to modify My Words such that they can be molded into a form of control that enables the continued repression of My children.”
In order to ensure that the homily, the clergy and all things Catholic are in agreement with China’s atheist leaders, China has announced that the communist party and not the Pope will name Chinese Bishops3.
But stifling the masses in China is an equal opportunity affair. Monks are beaten4 to death5, Muslims are ‘disappeared6‘ and even those who choose to worship in their own homes7 are taken to the pokey- or Chinese ‘black jail’.
President Obama’s ‘Chinese Take’ on Religion
The Obama administration’s attack on religion and Catholics, albeit less stifling, is a fruit from the same tree. Through Obama’s HHS mandate, the president is demanding that Catholics kowtow to Washington in a move that would make Communist China proud.
Obama’s HHS mandate requires that all employers to cover sterilization, abortion inducing drugs and contraception in their health care plans8. According to the HHS, all organizations, even those which find this morally reprehensible, will be forced to do Obama’s bidding.
Bishop Zubik of Pittsburgh said that Obama, speaking through his minions has told Catholics,
‘To Hell with you!
To Hell with your religious beliefs
To hell with your religious liberty
To hell with your freedom of conscience9‘ -Biship Zubik statement here
Bishop Zubik has called Obama’s plan an unprecedented attack on religious beliefs. He continued that while there are exemptions to the rule, they are so narrowly scoped that Catholic employers would be affected in virtually every instance10.
Loss of Religious Freedom
Whether one is a Catholic or not, the news of the presidents infringement on religious freedom is scary. In a nation that was supposedly built upon religious freedom, it is disconcerting to see the government intrude on how we worship. What I mean by this is that every religion has beliefs which are the pillars for her faithful. The right of the unborn is one such belief in Catholicism. By forcing religious institutions to go against their belief and faith is mandating that religions comply with what the government demands, and not what the religions believe. In this case, Obama is acting in a similar manner to the communists in China. The president is not selecting our Bishops, however, he is overriding the word of the Pope and worse yet, the Catholic faith. By taking this action, the president is mandating that religions do not follow the word of God, but the word of the Obama.

Fifty percent of recent college grads since 2006 are unemployed or working part time. Due to many factors, these Americans are unable to secure a job commensurate with their ability, that is the bad news. The good news is that President Obama has a plan. In what can only be deemed as stroke of genius by the ‘great uniter’, Mr Obama has decided to import foreign workers. Apparently securing jobs for Americas own is not part of the Obama platform.
Perhaps my claim seems bold or unwarranted, but please let me explain. The master plan of the Obama administration and big business, is to ensure that foreign nationals gain valuable employment at the expense of American citizens.
Take China, for instance. American universities now have over 160,000 Chinese students, the majority of whom will be pursuing work in America. While some would say that the Chinese will be taking jobs for which Americans are not prepared, I have my doubts. After all, investment houses are filled with people from the People’s Republic who have studied finance- of all things. While I have no hard numbers to back up my claim, I would be willing to bet that in all those 12.7 million Americans looking for work, there has to be someone who knows a thing or two about derivatives and such. Each year the communists in China struggle to find work for millions of college grads, so ‘big ups’ to Obama and crew in helping them do so.
Another bright spot in the Obama plan was to allow 800,000 illegal aliens to remain in the USA and pursue employment. I do not know how many of the unemployed American grads compete with this contingent for work, but I suspect the number to be substantial.
Immigration is a good thing and diversity is a pillar to America’s success. In order to capitalize on this, the US has laws in place to attract the best and brightest. President Obama’s plan, however, is counter productive. There are enough people willing to obey the rules and immigrate to the US that we do not need to reward rule breakers.

The third leg of Obama’s war on employing Americans is his desire to attract more foreign workers. To his credit, I cannot entirely blame President Obama on this one. In Mr Obama’s deal with the devil to become our president, he sold out to the highest bidder-business. And business, as we all know, is out to make a buck. And if making a buck means eschewing a computer programmer from Racine, Wisconsin for one from Chengdu, China, then so be it. After all, the corporate fat cats are only accountable to share price and not hoards of the unemployed.
President Obama and his corporate pals would have us believe that once again, there are not enough American scientists and engineers to fill positions within corporate America. While I would really like to believe in the president and his words, once again I have my doubts. According to Steve Camarota of the Center for Immigration Studies, “there are 101,000 American engineers who are looking for engineering jobs, 244,000 who have left the labor market and 1,470,000 who left the engineering field. That’s 1.8 million Americans with engineering degrees who do not have engineering jobs.”
Yikes! Almost one and one-half a million American citizens who are skilled in the practice of engineering cannot find a job in their home country. And all the while, Mr Obama and corporate America is scouring the shores of other countries for those elusive skilled experts that America apparently ‘cannot produce’.
To me what is truly odd is that those ‘skilled forefingers’ that Obama and crew are pursuing, have studied in the USA. And those 1.5 million American souls who cannot find a job in their homeland have also studied in the USA. Thus, all else being equal, are we to assume that over one million of our finest engineers cannot compete with overseas talent? Does it make sense that America has to import sixty percent of her scientists and engineers, twenty percent of whom are from China, when have Americans without a job?
The Obama administration has scored the trifecta against American employment. They have allowed people from China to be overrepresented in our universities, legalized illegals and petitioned for more foreign workers. With unemployment hovering at 9% , one cannot help but marvel at the brilliance of Obama and crew.
